Morris Municipal Services Facility
OVERVIEW
Municipal Construction and General Contracting in Morris, Illinois
DCA Contracting Services was selected as the general contractor for the municipal construction project contracted by the City of Morris, which initially obtained the property from an elementary school and applied Tax Increment Financing (TIF) to aid in funding.
Decades of municipal construction expertise in our portfolio, including building adult detention facilities, police departments, and fire stations, led to our project involvement in managing all milestones necessary to apply the City of Morris’ TIF successfully.
Home to the Police, City Administration, and the Mayor
With a sally port, processing room, three interview rooms, multiple evidence lockers, a reporting room, roll call, and five holding cells, the facility is entirely suited to service the Morris Police Department.
The building also houses records and various storage and security measures while also serving as home to City Administration and the Mayor. Additional municipal construction building features include a council room and council chamber to support the three entities fully.
