Burr Ridge Police Station
OVERVIEW
Municipal Construction in Burr Ridge, IL
DCA Contracting Services was selected as the general contractor for the new Burr Ridge Police Station, which was built to replace the existing station located at 7660 South County Line Road. Village Administration and the Burr Ridge Police Department previously shared the current station, which no longer had adequate space or necessary amenities to serve both groups, requiring the municipal construction of an updated building by DCA Contracting services.
New Police Facility with Cedar Accents
The Village of Burr Ridge’s new municipal construction project consists of a one-story, 19,000 SF masonry building with cedar accents. The project was designed to accommodate all staff members over three shifts and contains male/female locker rooms, a roll call room, sally port, holding cells, interview rooms, evidence areas, administrative and general offices, and a communications tower.
The updated station has training facilities as well as an inviting public reception area to allow the police department to serve the Burr Ridge community better.
Building for Burr Ridge’s Brave “Blue Line”
DCA Contracting Services truly understands public safety and municipal construction projects as a community builder. Our teams design and build secure facilities to meet today’s needs while serving tomorrow’s growing needs. We have built several police stations, including Chicago’s 23rd (Now 19th) District Police Station, Chicago’s 12th (Near West) District Police Station, Oakbrook Terrace Police Station, and the current Woodridge Police Department and Public Works municipal construction project.
